The structure of memorial. The memorial made of black Indian stone granite 3 block in number. It’s shape like a cut top pyramid. The foundation has a square shape with dimension 150x150x180 cm. (width, length and height). The top side is also in square shape with 50x50 cm. All 3 blocks of stone are place in triangle with 5,395 cm. length in each side. At the middle of triangle is a block of granite too. On top view, it can be seen in square shape with 80 cm. in width, 80 cm. in length. The granite plate will be installed by raise up one side in 50 cm. high and lower on the other side at 20 cm. high.
          The inscription words in memory of the dead from several nations include with national flags of several countries in which their people were die of tsunami in Thailand. The inscription words be written on the plate which made up of acrylic in the language of each nation. The acrylic plate will be stuck on the granite (all 3 blocks). Each block has 8 sides. There are 24 plates. (12 large plate and 12 small)

          MEANING
          The granite blocks which are set up in triangle represent as “Earth”, “Water” and “Air” just like the Earth (our World) that comprised of Earth (ground), water and air. Earth is the source to create the jungle, mountain, river, canal, wildlife and food. Water is the source of life, underwater resources, food and it is necessary for human being and all kinds of animal for using and drinking. Air is also very importance and need for life.
          Setting granite block in triangle give the meaning of balancing among Earth, water and air. Those must be related to each other. They can not lack or unbalance. That can be compared with “The balancing of triangle”.
          The stone block in the middle represent a human being who is the center of the Earth and live in the environment of Earth, water and air. Human being is the creator and also the destroyer. If human destroy the balance, The nature and the system of Earth, water and air. It will cause the natural disaster back to the human.
          The symbolic Thai house. House is the most happiness place for human. Therefore building house at the memorial get the meaning Thai. The spirit and soul of the dead of disaster will rest in this house forever.
          The length of each side of balancing triangle is 5,395 cm. This length refer to the number of the dead from disaster.
          The distance between symbolic Thai house and the memorial (2,874 cm.) means the number of dead that can not to tell who they are and what nation they are. Those are 2,874 persons in total.
